Most interesting: the band. If you have a fondness for electronica, that is. Saying that Samayoa plays bass, Fuhrer plays drums, and Salvata plays synth doesn’t give you a fair idea of the scope of what they’re doing. They’re wired up there. Most play multiple instruments

there’s an entire drum kit here, lashed into with deep skills and ferocious intensity by Rachel Fuhrer, laying the groundwork for the prog-rock keyboards of Chad Salvata and Sergio Samayoa’s badass bass guitar. No coffeehouse vibe beyond the frontman in this show, fellow space traveler

This is intelligent music that will hold you captive both with rhythms and melodies, supporting Jewell’s word pictures and indissoluble from them. It is electronic LOUD rocking, but so closely integrated with the texts that you will not miss a word.

“Our favorite segment was “Martian Fantasy.” Employing a scheme and wordplay worthy of Shel Silverstein . . . oh, it’s too much fun to spoil it here. Just go see it!”

“The storytelling, the space aesthetics, the ’80s-a-riffic instrumentation suggests 2001 meets Sprockets crossed with Laurie Anderson.”
